ARTISIAN Signs With SWORN RECORDS

April 24, 2008

UK extreme metal outfit ARTISIAN has inked a deal with Sworn Records. The band is currently writing material for its fourth, as-yet-untitled album.

Having previously been signed to Copro, Grindethic and Infernus Rex, ARTISIAN has been very busy over the past couple of years, successfully establishing an ever-growing fan base in both the UK and mainland Europe. Sworn Records is "very much looking forward to working with the band and helping them to fully establish themselves as one of the most intense band in the extreme metal scene!" according to a press release.

According to ARTISIAN's official bio, "The inspiration for this project was drawn from a deep misanthropy, crushing sorrow, severe depression, emotional and physical pain and frustration resulting from dealing with the average person. Utter disgust and hatred for modern society and government, the flawed infrastructure in which it rests, a rejection of the politically correct hypocrites that turn a blind eye to Nazi-style mob censorship and the wailing ignorance of minority groups that claim to be a majority and cry discrimination when they don't get what they want. Modern society has produced a yearning for self sufficiency and solitude, the collapse of all organised religions and a return to paganism. We came into this world alone, we will leave alone. We are here to survive, sink or swim. People can have a prejudice purely because another draws breath."
